Creativity connected with Nikon Imaging Cloud
With your camera connected to Nikon Imaging Cloud, fantastic new creative tools, camera to cloud storing and automated firmware updates come to the Nikon Z6III
The launch of Nikon Imaging Cloud opens up a host of new possibilities, with your Nikon Z6III directly connected to the cloud via Wi-Fi. Nikon Imaging Cloud is a browser-based system that works on either desktop or mobile and boosts your creativity while speeding up your workflow. Transfer images seamlessly to your preferred cloud storage service, get firmware updates straight to the camera while you do something else and download and create image ‘recipes’ to instantly get the look you want.
Seamless image transfer
Say goodbye to cables and memory cards for data transfer. Nikon Imaging Cloud automatically uploads your images to third-party cloud services, including Lightroom, Dropbox, Google Drive, Google Photos and OneDrive, as well as Nikon Image Space. Images are also stored on Nikon Imaging Cloud with unlimited capacity for 30 days. From there you can then choose what images to send on to your preferred storage system. What’s more, you can even designate different destinations for different file formats, so if you want your JPEGS in one place and HEIF in another, Nikon Imaging Cloud will do that for you.

Firmware updates direct to your camera
Just in the same way that your phone updates to its latest operating system for you, Nikon Imaging Cloud can update your camera to the latest firmware whenever a new version is released – effortlessly. No more swapping out memory cards, no need for a computer. The updates are direct to the camera and will not take up any space on your memory card. If you want control over when you install firmware updates, no problem – you’ll be notified on the camera, on the Nikon Imaging Cloud or by email that a new version is available.

Recipes
Here’s where things get creative. Nikon’s new Imaging Recipes service lets you save your image styles as recipes to be used again and also lets you download recipes created by Nikon and Nikon Creators. Whether you want to recreate the look of old film stock or experiment with colour profiles created exclusively for Nikon, you can have bespoke colour grading done in camera. The recipe includes the user’s customised colour adjustment settings, camera settings including shooting mode, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation, AF settings, White Balance etc, as well as all the EXIF data on date/time, camera and lens models, location and focal length.
At launch, there are 13 recipes available from Nikon Creators to get you started. More will be added as the service grows. You can save up to 100 recipes on your personal Nikon Imaging Cloud, with the option to send and register nine of them to your camera at any one time. Once on the camera, the recipes are used just like regular Picture Controls. You’ll boost your creativity and save time at the laptop.
